Alternate Container:

Two 6mL Lavender EDTA tubes

Collection Instructions:

Allow Lavender EDTA tubes to fill completely. Gently invert tube 8-10 times immediately after collection to prevent clotting.

Only 1 full 10 mL Lavender tube is needed. However, if Tay-Sachs Enzyme is selected, a second 10 mL Lavender-top K2 EDTA tube should be submitted (for a total of two tubes).

Room temperature: ~72 hours

Refrigerated: 7 days

Frozen: unacceptable
